    - Dikotil : Kolateral terbuka

secara anatomi :

MONOKOTIL
Tidak mempunyai kambium veskuler, pembuluh angkutnya tersebar, berkas pengangkut dibungkus oleh sarung berkas  pengangkut , memiliki epidermis yang tebal, mempunyai maristem interkalar,tidak mempunyai jari-jari empelur.

DIKOTIL
mempunyai kambium veskuler, pembuluh angkut teratur dalam susunan lingkaran atau berseling radial, tidak memiliki epidermis, tidak mempunyai meristem interkalar, jari-jari empelur berupa derekan parenkim diantara berkas pengangkut.
